Steve is preparing to embark on his trip to Mars Colony.
Time after time the trip has been delayed by Government red tape.
Officials are questioning the continued need for the Colony,
in view of the sudden global economic prosperity....
Larry joins him in his lab. He shows him the object he has built.
As he places it in Larry's hands, the object begins to glow with an
aura of plasma around it.
=================
Ben is once again in his office. He is before several monitors, again
studying Gya Mon's cyber-orgy in-progress.
He switches focus of a monitor to the
CU-SeeMe -- live video --
portion of one participant's session. Then he switches to a 3-D
computer rendering of the
FEEL-U-FEEL-ME imprint in real-time
of the same person's session. He sees inverted forms as digitized
from the bodies of the participants.
In text windows, Ben examines the hardware and Inter-Network
Protocol identifications of the servers and clients he is accessing.
Next, Ben brings up multi-media reference information on
Kali,
the jealous and dangerous Hindu goddess.
Ben fashions an autonomous agent after the character of
Kali. The
3-D Avatar -- the computer-rendered form -- is taken after Hindu
sculpture. Ben has rigged the figure to be animated according to
the behavior generated by an autonomous simulation.
Ben runs the simulation through its paces, fine-tuning it.
Ben has created a search-wait-and-destroy agent, targeted at Gya
Mon's personal
FEEL-U-Feel-Me client machine.
