Here is my conceptualization of how this thing would be built. Here is a
pneumatic micro-valve manufactured using silicon wafer processing technology
and thin-film Nickel-Titanium shape-memory alloy as an actuator.
This valve was developed by Ti-Ni Alloys in San Leandro, California.
