Here is my attempt to cast virtual, abstract space into three complete physical dimensions. I believe there is a sublime insight in its subtlety.

I have taken a figure from a high school mathematics class -- the hyperbolic paraboloid -- and applied captions in Braille to its surface. The hyperbolic paraboloid was rendered in Mathematica. Thickness was added to the theoretical surface using my own software. The DotsPlus Mathematical typesetting Braille font came from the Science Access Project at the Department of Physics, Oregon State University.
